- Jen Bartel earned a nomination for Eisner Award in 2023 in "Best Cover Artist" category for the covers of this and other issues from She-Hulk (Vol. 5) made in 2022 (issues #1—9).[1]
Notes
- This is the first appearance of She-Hulk and Titania's fight club, after the two women first talked about it in the first issue.
- Volcana makes a return, after being absent for more than 7 years (she had last appeared in She-Hulk (Vol. 3) #12)
- Last time Karnak had been seen, he'd gone into seclusion with the surviving Inhumans,[2] so it's at least curious that he's requiring legal help.
- Nightcrawler mentions that Mallory Book made a name for herself "representing every costumed bad guy in America". Mallory was first seen defending supervillains in She-Hulk (Vol. 2) #1 and she reached the peak after her case defending the Leader in She-Hulk (Vol. 2) #19.
- She-Hulk was Reed Richards' teammate on the Fantastic Four from Fantastic Four #265 to Fantastic Four #300, acting as a replacement for The Thing.
