Professional History
Sheldon Turner is an American screenwriter. He was hired by 20th Century Fox to write X-Men Origins: Magneto, a prequel focused on Erik Lehnsherr. The movie entered development hell and was eventually superseded by X-Men: First Class, which also dealt with Magneto's origins. The Writer's Guild of America arbitration eventually decided to give Turner a story credit for First Class, even if Bryan Singer admitted he never read Turner's script while writing his story treatment that eventually became the First Class screenplay.[1][2]
