History
The person who would eventually adopt the identity of Shen Quinghao was formerly the crime boss known as Silver Fang, a nefarious gangster involved in human trafficking operations, and the person that pushed "Martin Li" to a life of crime.
At some point in time, Silver Fang abandoned his life of crime, adopting the identity of Quinghao, and eventually became known as "China's greatest humanitarian."[1] In the present, Quinghao's company decided to invest in Parker Industries' technology on renewable energies.[2]
The presentation of the partnership between Parker Industries and Quinghao was interrupted by Mister Negative and his Inner Demons. Mister Negative affected Shen with his powers, and commanded him to start confessing his past. Chief Inspector Sun shot at the camera that could've recorded the confession, because he already knew of Quinghao's past long time ago, but he was willing to keep it under wraps to avoid compromising Shen reputation in favor of the good he was doing for China.
Mister Negative fled in frustration, due to being unable to reveal Quinghao's truth to the public, and commanded Quinghao to commit suicide by jumping off the window; however, he was rescued by Spider-Man's allies. After the incident, Quinghao's past remained a secret, but the lead scientist of Parker Industries' renewable energies declined to continue working with him, unwilling to share his hard work with a man like him.[3]
