History
Little is detailed about Shere Khan’s life before Dreadpool began murdering the inhabitants of the Ideaverse, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as Shere Khan from the collection of stories, The Jungle Book.
Upon arriving in India is 1900, Dreadpool and Frankenstein's Monster recruited Shere Khan to their cause with the promise that he could kill his lifelong enemy, the man-cub Mowgli. Shere Khan got his wish and killed Mowgli, but was killed himself in the process.[1]
Later, all the characters from Ideaverse were resurrected by Sherlock Holmes, who has restored that universe.[2]
