Origin

Shir Ydrn Talonis, or "Talon", was a sentient Darkhawk Android|Raptor Mechanoid built by the Shi'ar centuries ago. Talon first encountered Darkhawk (Chris Powell) when he crashed into Chris's backyard while on the run from a Hunter Drone that he claimed was sent by those who opposed the work and goals of the Fraternity of Raptors.

H'jke Jeeku

Talon's Amulet was found in space by Skrull Commander H'jke Jeeku, one of the Skrull warriors who took part in the Skrull Invasion of Earth. After their defeat Commander Jeeku led his fleet to refuge in the Aranko Nebula. The fleet however was intercepted by the Inhumans and were decimated by Black Bolt's deadly scream. Commander Jeeku was the sole survivor. Moments before his death, he saw a bizarre crystal. Believing his mind was playing tricks on him, he approached this mysterious light, but as soon as he touched it, he was absorbed by the crystal.

• Talon: The Darkhawk Android|Raptor Mechanoid is advanced Shi'ar technology possessing numerous superhuman capabilities:
  • Superhuman Strength: He can bench press 2 tons.
  • Superhuman Durability: Talon is superhumanly durable; he is capable of shrugging off physical impacts, energy blasts, and most artillery fire.
  • Mode Shifting: Talons can morph their bodies into a host of augmentative forms. Becoming transparent, doubling body armor, projecting greater weaponry, etc.
  • Flight: The retractable glider wings under his arms allow him to fly in most environments.
  • Force Field: It can utilize a circular wafer-thin force field. This force fields are capable of resisting Vulcan's energy blasts.
  • Concussion Blasts: He can fire blasts of destructive dark energy from the amulet on his chest. He could destroy a Chorus Sentry with a single blast.
  • Scout Creation: Talon can create a bird-like scout and see through its eyes.
  • Datasong: Talon is connected to the Datasong, which transmits a large quantity of informations to his mind.
    • Precognition: Talon possesses the ability of psychohistory, the ability to perceive how changes in the universe's structure will affect it in the future.
    • Mind Control: Talon can use the Datasong to transmit informations and images to other Raptors and even impose his will on them.
    • Hypnosis: Talon possesses hypnotic powers thanks to his connection to the Datasong. His hypnotic powers allow him to manipulate people's memories.
  • Stargate Opening: Talon can open Stargates for near-instantaneous travel through the universe.
  • Appearance Alteration: Talon can adopt other people's appearances.
