Notes
- First appearance of all characters.
- Based on the popular toy line of 24" plastic action figures by Mattel.
- Although members of the Lumina and Myndai races first appeared in this issue, the actual names of those races were not revealed until the entry on the Followers of the Light that was published in the Appendix of Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #4.
- The three humans chosen to pilot the Shogun Warriors are not identified as Agents of the Light until next issue.
- The Omniscient Narrative describes Shogun Sanctuary as being located in the heart of a secluded mountain range in a remote region of the Far East. Later, Dr. Tambura states that the city being attacked by Rok-Korr (Tokyo) is just a short distance from the Sanctuary, indicating that the Sanctuary must be located on the Japanese main island of Honshu.
