Synopsis for "Recouping Losses"
The Wild Pack has failed in an operation to capture Venom and the Human Torch; [Continuity 1] so Silver sends them to San Francisco to get Venom, and in the process, she appears on the Phil Donahue late night show. Meanwhile, the Foreigner disguises himself to convince Jacques to make an investment that will harm him; [Continuity 2] and Silver Sable International is having cash problems because their accountant Mr. Lee has absconded with a large amount of their money, so they send Paladin after him. [Continuity 3] As the Wild Pack fights Venom, a magical black fog covers them all.

Synopsis for "A New Beginning"
As Spider-Man and Silver Sable fight the Sinister Syndicate, the Sandman appears to help them; and Spider-Man returns the favor for doing the right thing; Silver is surprised and embarrassed because Spider-Man proves to be a better person than she is. After the battle, Silver offers Sandman a job; he tells her right away that he was a criminal, but she insists on giving him a second chance.
