Synopsis for "On The Town"

It's the team's night off; Sable goes on a date with Jacques, convinced that he did not publish the pornographic photos, [Continuity 1] but forbids Anna to go out alone. The Wild Pack dress up to go out in fancy clothes: Doug Powell is attracted to Lightbright, and Sam Powell is attracted to Battlestar; only for them to find out that Battlestar and Lightbright have plans together. [Continuity 2] Chen, the Crippler and Quentino take Powell with them to a bar, where they’re involved in a brawl when some thugs try to rob it. [Continuity 3] When everyone leaves, the thief Black Fox prepares a robbery at the Embassy, and only Anna has seen him and can do something about it, in a duel of cunning. Meanwhile, the Wild Pack gets into a bar fight against some thieves, and the CIA interrupts Silver's date to arrest Jacques for the investment he had made. [Continuity 4] When Silver returns to the Embassy, Fox has left Anna hanging from the ceiling, and Silver decides to not release her as a punishment. [Continuity 5]

Synopsis for "Misjudging a book by its cover"

Sandman goes out with Fin in an attempt to socialize, during which they destroy a taxi that was going too fast. Sandman discovers that Fin is only pretending to be stupid: He really has great knowledge of physics, complex powers that he handles well, and an ear for opera; but he does not want to show his intelligence so that they do not take advantage of him.

Notes

Continuity Notes[]

  1. Silver had modelled for Jacques in Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #11; but on Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #15 Silver had then appeared in a porn magazine, much to her distress. She initially blamed Jacques, who denied any involvement in Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #16. Here, Silver decides to trust Jacques' word.
  2. The story shows almost every character's night, except for the date between Battlestar and Lightbright.
  3. Quentino thinks that he should not be involved in a bar fight. Considering that he is in an excellent shape and a great fighter, he is probably referring to him being secretly HIV-positive, as revealed in Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #10
  4. Jacques had been tricked by the Foreigner to investment on Gonzales in Silver Sable and the Wild Pack #18. Here, he discovers that it involved him in illegal dealings.
  5. Anna will not be seen again in 16 years (of real time), until Shadowland: Blood on the Streets #3 (2010). Hopefully she did not spend all that time hanging from the Embassy’s ceiling!
