History

A brilliant Kree scientist who, in his study of a primordial God of Light, invented an energy source that would bring light to the entire known galaxy;[1] but this invention clashed with the interests of the houses of merchants that dominated the Kree Empire, who imposed that the discovery of Sim-Del was banned.[2]

Not surrendered his ideas, Sim-Del sought the exile on Marxhotz,[1] a remote planetoid in the Bennazar Rift. There, using his invention, Sim-Del transformed the isolated and desert place into a paradise for himself and his family, with the intention of delivering his knowledge to the known universe so that anyone could use the energy.

When the Kree Empire became aware of his inventions, they sent a group of assassins who killed Sim-Del and his wife. Before being killed, the couple managed to conceal their son Zak-Del in a duct, from where he watched helplessly to the massacre.[2]

His spirit was later summoned by the Supreme Intelligence, who wanted Sim-Del to guide his son Zak-Del, now Wraith, urging him to locate his murderer as a ploy to truly get him to fight against the Phalanx and save the Intelligence from being used as a weapon against its own people.[3]
