Simon Gilbert was the Chairman of Stark Industries' Board of Directors. He tried to remove Tony Stark from his President position.

Father of the late Firebrand and Stark's romantic interest Roxanne Gilbert, Simon Gilbert was seemingly killed in an accident, but he later resurfaced as a competitor for Stark Enterprises, running GilberTech.
