History

Peter was married.

One day, his wife's mother was sick. Jesus came to her, took her hand, and the fever left her.

After his death, Peter became Saint Peter, and took on the role of deciding which deceased souls qualified for entry into the Judeo-Christian Heaven. He occasionally would intervene in the lives of living people to influence them to make the correct decisions so they would qualify for Heaven later.
