—KindredIt isn't fair, is it? You did what was asked of you, after all. You wanted something. Answers. An offer was made, and you took action. Now here you are, Otto-- right back where you started. It can be so frustrating to be trapped in that cycle, I know. But don't go anywhere just yet-- the fun's just getting started.

Synopsis for "Sinister War (Part 2)"
Earlier, Foreigner's group was in the middle of a heist when Kindred appeared from shadows and captured them. As the Superior Foes were out on the town, Overdrive was hiring Boomerang to help him find Carlie Cooper, but Kindred manifested and abducted them. While Beetle debated Scorpia in allowing Anastasia into their roster, the whole group was spirited away by Kindred mid-debate. With the three sinister teams confined to a single location, Kindred introduces himself and reveals that he planted parasitic centipedes in their heads. Showing his severity by sending each of them into incredible pain, he informs them that the parasites will get hungry, then eat their brains, and they will die. But Kindred promises to make whomever among them into his lieutenant if said one killed Spider-Man painfully, so if they die then they'll get a "second chance" under him. With their afterlives on the line, the groups went out to complete their imposed task, otherwise Kindred would send others to complete the task.
In the present, Otto Octavius stands with his fully reformed original Sinister Six feeling empty at not getting the answers he was promised, while outside in the Osborn graveyard, Spider-Man is overwhelmed. Rapidly fatigued just surviving The Foreigner's Squad, the new Superior Foes roster interrupt to take Spider-Man for themselves. Overdrive absconds with Spider-Man while the others battle Foreigner's team and overwhelm them. But recognizing their desperation, Spider-Man fails to convince Overdrive to stop while pleading Kindred untrustworthiness. They crash when ambushed by Beetle's Syndicate unrestrained due to Kindred's dead or alive bounty on Spider-Man. Scattered and overwhelmed, Spider-Man narrowly dodges until Anastasia catches him and buries a knife in his back. Elsewhere, Doc Ock's original Sinister Six alongside Vulture's Savage Six motion onward into the battlefront.
