History

Sissy Garcia was an inmate at Northeastern Correctional Facility. While serving time there, Hope Shlottman, carrying Killgrave's unborn child and wishing to miscarry, had Sissy beat her up in exchange for 50 American Dollars and a pack of cigarettes. Jessica Jones later visited her in prison; believing the beating to have been non-consensual, Jessica pushed her against a vending machine and squeezed her fingers until Sissy told Jones the full details of the beating, at which point Jones released Sissy and went to visit Hope.

Personality

While in prison Sissy would openly barter in exchange for services and conversation, refusing to talk with visitors unless they provided cash, leading to a glib disposition. She also showed a confident sexual attitude towards women, flirting with Jessica Jones and speaking of her various sexual partners.
