History

The Sky Lords of Indigarr were a proud pantheon of giants that ruled the heavens of the primitive world of Indigarr. In return for worship, the Sky Lords provided rain to the planet. About a generation ago Gorr the God Butcher came and invaded their stronghold. Every man, woman and child were all brutally massacred, their bodies mutilated like animals. With their disappearance, there were no divinities left to maintain the rains of Indigarr and the world slowly died with their worshipers losing faith in them. In a desperate plea to save their world, a young native prayed to Thor the God of Thunder, as she had heard stories of him from passing starships. Thor answered her prayer and brought rain to Indigarr. Thor learned of the absence of the Sky Lords, which prompted him to learn why they had forsaken their responsibilities as gods. He soon discovered their fate and the hand Gorr played in their murders. They were the first victims that Thor swore to avenge for the crimes of Gorr.[1]

After Thor vanquished Gorr and returned to the past, he brought a group of displaced gods to Indigarr.[2] The new Sky Lords of Indigarr proved to be far more benevolent than their predecessors, and terraformed the planet into a verdant paradise.[3]
