History

The Slorgs, or "Serpent-Women", were abominations of the eastern deserts of Lemurian. They were allegedly spawn of the Dark Lords,[1] though it is unknown if it was a litteral statement.

Somehow, they became apparently extinct, although ages after their supposed extinction, a large group of them was present in Scarlet Tower of Tsargol, acting as guards for the Star Stone for Drugunda Thal. When Thongor of Valkarth came to steal the Star Stone, he killed many of them before being incapacitated.
Sharajsha told Thongor that was what guarded the Star Stone imped of necromancy, hinting that the Slorgs of the Scarlet Tower were either created or restored through sorcery.[1]

Notes

  • The Slorgs (or "Serpent-Women"), were created by Lin Carter in "Thongor and the Wizard of Lemuria".
  • They ressemble female versions of the Man-Serpents of Robert E. Howard. Unlike Carter's Dragon Kings who were confirmed to be related to the Serpent-Men to which they were similar,[2] the Slorgs' possible relation to other serpentine beings haven't been developed as far.
