At the request of Betty Dean, Namor and Namora investigated the thefts at the home of wealthy Hiram King, and learned that his own step-daughter Karen was stealing goods to pay off her gambling debts to Snake Wilson. The pair captured Snake Wilson, but not before Karen was gunned down.[1]
