History
Sofia Yong was a mutant from Singapore.[1] She had the power to acquire any skill for one minute.[2] She used this power in school to succeed in her exams, but this made some of her colleagues jealous and they beat her up. To defend herself, she used her powers to learn martial arts, but accidentally paralyzed one of her attackers.[3]
Ending up in the United States of America and calling herself Jitter, she found herself pursued by a monstrous creature called the Hag alongside three other young mutants, which prompted the group to seek the X-Men's help. After engaging in a brief fight against the X-Men over a misunderstanding, Jitter and the other Outliers were taken in as their new students.[4]Attributes
Powers
Hyper-Focus: Jitter's mutant power enables her to acquire any skill she wants for one minute if she concentrates enough.[2]
Weaknesses
Power Limitation: Sofia can only use each skill she acquired instantly for no more than one minute. If she exert herself more than that she will fall due to her limited skill.[2]
Paraphernalia
Equipment
Jitter wears a stopwatch at all times so she can know exactly when the time limit of her power is reached.[5][2][1]
