History

The Sorcerers Supreme of the Temple of Vishanti hail from many different dimensions, but all make the pilgrimage to Kamar-Taj for knowledge. Though the Temple of Vishanti is a House of Battleworld, it is first and foremost an academy of mystic knowledge. Most who come to Kamar-Taj understand the greater threats that face the denizens of Battleworld, however there have been instances of dissent among the Temple. Some Sorcerers have accused the Ancient One of hoarding the most powerful magic for themselves, leaving others incapable of true ultimate knowledge. The fate of such Sorcerers is difficult to find in the history books of The Temple, but perhaps lies elsewhere among other Houses of Battleworld.
