History

The Special Executive are a group of parahuman mercenaries led by the lupine cyborg Wardog who operate throughout the multiverse and apparently throughout time as well. They first appeared on Gallifrey in the distant past where they assisted the early Time Lords against the Order of the Black Sun. Later, they went to Earth-616 circa 1983 where they abducted Captain Britain in order to have him testify at the trial of their latest employer, Saturnyne. They returned to Earth with Captain Britain and Saturnyne but left after several of their members were wounded or killed by the cyborg monster called The Fury. It has since been revealed that the mercenary group Technet are an earlier iteration of the Special Executive.
