History

S.T.R.I.K.E. shared history with its counterpart from Earth-199999, being a sub-division of S.H.I.E.L.D. that was secretly a part of Hydra. In the aftermath of the Battle of New York City in 2012, S.T.R.I.K.E. recovered Loki's scepter containing the Mind Stone from Black Widow and Hydra agent Jasper Sitwell was about to deliver it to Dr. List, but was stopped by time-traveling Captain America, who impersonated his past self and pretended to be an agent of Hydra in order to take the scepter off Sitwell's hands.
