This duo is better than dynamic, amazing, sensational, superior…they’re SPECTACULAR! - Two trailers were released by Marvel on YouTube to promote this issue:
Trivia
- Peter jokes that it feels like he's "been at it for sixty years". His first appearance, Amazing Fantasy #15, had been released almost 62 years earlier at this point.
- Miles makes a similar joke, saying it feels like he's "been racing to homeroom for a decade". He started High School in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #1, released 12 years before this issue.
- Miles mentions he's "seeing someone". He's referring to Tiana Toomes, with whom he's been romantically involved since Miles Morales: Spider-Man #22.
- The workers at the Coffee Bean are Kenny Kong and Shelly Conklin, both of whom were introduced (and last seen) in Starbrand & Nightmask, also written by Greg Weisman. They have since started dating.
- Sha Shan Nguyen dated Flash Thompson from Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #19 until Amazing Spider-Man #275. The two reunited when she became his physical therapist in Amazing Spider-Man #622, but the two have not been seen together since his previous death in Amazing Spider-Man #800.
- Professor Warren's full name is revealed to be Raymond Aaron Warren. When the character was previously adapted in the Spectacular Spider-Man, which was created by Weisman, he was named Aaron Warren.
