- Ms. Marvel was revealed to be a mutant in X-Men: Hellfire Gala 2023 #1.
- Hydro-Man, a recurring antagonist of Spider-Man (Peter Parker) ever since his first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man #212, tries to help Juliet control her water form.
- The Fantastic Four, longtime allies of Peter Parker, since Amazing Spider-Man #1, are called so that each can help her with one of her transformations.
- They're the first ones to suggest her powers seem magical in nature. This is further explored in the next issue.
