Synopsis for "When Time Stood Still!"

When a man visits a deserted village he finds an old clock maker still living there. The old man explains to him that he has kept several clocks running sixty-one seconds to the minute for several years thus saving up quite a bit of time which he uses to enjoy the village in its heyday. The man is startled to see the clock maker eat food which appears out of nowhere, ride a buggy down to the dock pulled by a horse he can't see and dance a square dance in a broken down old barn. The clock maker vanishes and the man thinks that the whole series of events just must have been his imagination, but then is startled when he glances at his watch and sees his initials added there just as he had asked the clock maker to do earlier.

Synopsis for "The Forbidden Garden"

An American examining a house in France finds himself back in time in order to aid two young lovers whose father disapproves of their courting and sends three swordsmen to do away with the young Frenchman. The American enters the fight to even the odds and after the three are defeated, he returns to the present day. The realtor tells him the history of the house involving the strange tale and the American pronounces that he believes it to be true.
