History

Spidair was a Spider-Totem who used his abilities as a superhero. Spidair was recruited by Spider-Man and Spider-Zero to rescue Spiderling from within the Web of Life and Destiny.

He was bitten by a spider created in a space laboratory. This provided him with following powers:

• Light Generation: He can make his whole body glow bright enough to blind his opponents.
• Temperature Immunity: His skin became extremely thick and now can withstand extreme temperatures.

Notes

• Spidair originated as a "Spidersona"—a type of fan-created character inspired by the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Marvel Comics contacted some fans to create new Spidersonas specifically to be showcased in Spider-Verse (Vol. 3). Spidair was first introduced in the Spider-Verses profile back-up feature of Spider-Verse (Vol. 3) #1 before making his in-story debut in Spider-Verse (Vol. 3) #6 alongside the other nine Spidersonas.
