Synopsis for "Part Four: Intelligent Design"
Vision takes Spider-Man and Stegron away, while Venom stays to fight the human spiders. At the resistance headquarters, Peter recovers and decides to hand over command to Flash, who intends to use Stegron's regeneration ray. However, Peter is concerned about Tony who is increasingly unstable, as he has changed the colors of his armor to those of the Green Goblin costume and flies with Osborn's glider despite having jet boots. Having little faith in the two himself, Flash asks Peter to check on their work and the latter creates artificial blood for Captain Marvel who has been vampirized like Morbius and more Connors Formula to free other superhumans from the Queen's control. The next day the Queen sends Betty, Sharon, Carlie and MJ to attack them to make them waste the serum on them instead of superhumans. Tony however points out that they cannot abandon them, so the four are transformed into humanoid lizards, but they had tracers on them and so the resistance is attacked by the Queen's slaves. Tony who knows that soon the Goblin formula will make him become like Norman Osborn, decides to sacrifice himself to cover the retreat using the Ebony Blade.
