Synopsis for "Negative Exposure: Part One"

Jeffrey Haight, a photographer for the Daily Bugle, is envious of Peter Parker's success as a stringer, constantly getting his pictures on the front page. Jeff and Peter discuss photography and Peter playfully avoids revealing his influences, making Jeff think he's a dork.

Later, Jeff gets a tip about a potential scoop involving Doc Ock at the Da Vinci exhibit. Spider-Man arrives at the scene as Doc Ock uses his mechanical arms to steal a famous Da Vinci sketch. A fight ensues, and Spider-Man defeats Doc Ock by tricking him into choosing the sketch over pursuing his opponent.

Jeff captures the entire event with his camera, believing he has finally secured a front-page photo. However, when he returns to the Bugle, he discovers that Peter Parker has already developed his pictures, and they are remarkable.

The next day, Doc Ock reads the Daily Bugle and notices that Peter's photo made it to the front page while Jeff's is buried on page eleven, piquing his interest.
