Synopsis for "Negative Exposure (Part Two)"

In Rikers Island penitentiary, Doctor Octavius receives a book of photographs taken by Jeffrey Haight - a first step in a sinister plan.

In Washington Square Park, Jeff Haight observes Peter Parker until his girlfriend, Anna Kefkin, surprises him. But they are quickly interrupted by a radio message about a crime at the Diamond District involving the Vulture. Jeff rushes to the scene, as does Peter, who once again leaves Mary Jane behind.

At the Diamond District, Spider-Man confronts the Vulture, while Jeff positions himself to take pictures. He is confident that Parker won't beat him to the scoop this time. However, he does not realize that a camera is webbed to the wall right above him.

After Spider-Man defeated the Vulture, Jeff hurries to the Daily Bugle. But getting there, city editor Robbie informs Jeff that they have already purchased a front-page picture from Peter Parker. Just then, the disappointed Jeff receives a call from the attorney of Otto Octavius, who requests a meeting in the prison.

In the evening, Jeff stands outside Doc Ock's cell, and they engage in a conversation. Otto flatters Jeff, and when he criticizes the Bugle for not featuring Jeff's photo on the front page, Jeff is definitely intrigued.
