In his secret lab, the Jackal has one of his Peter Parker clones strapped to an examination table. The clone is hooked up to a machine that will fill his mind with information that will bring him up to date on the life of the real Peter Parker. Soon, the Parker clone's mind if flooded with information on...

Reviving Spidercide, he forces the shape-shifting clone to assume its costumed form. He then informs the clone that he will be the Jackal's instrument of destruction and to kill everyone that stands in his way.

Continuity Notes

  1. The Jackal states that the original Hobgoblin was Ned Leeds here. This was revealed to be false in Spider-Man: Hobgoblin Lives #1Spider-Man: Hobgoblin Lives #3.
  2. Judas Traveller is identified as immortal here. This is also proven to be false, as it was later revealed that Traveller is a mutant who suffered dellusions after a mental breakdown as revealed in Amazing Spider-Man #416417.
  3. The Jackal states he isn't sure if this is Curt Connors or someone/something else. This creature is later revealed to be a different entity to Connors as revealed in Spectacular Spider-Man #237239.
