Synopsis
Spider-Man has fought for his life before, but never like this. Never with stakes so high, nor the odds stacked so heavily against him. He speeds through Manhattan on gossamer lines at a velocity that causes passing skyscrapers to blur in pursuit of one villain, and in turn pursued by many.
Using super strength, enhanced reflexes and web-spinning powers he foils the cruel intentions of his enemies while accomplishing mission after mission - all leading to a final confrontation with Venom and Sandman - but ultimately the outcome is in your hands!Notes
- The game is based on Spider-Man 3 but also has levels featured the villains, locations and story elements from Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2.
- The game consists of 30 mini-games and 59 collectible cards were released to scan within the game. The last card #60 wasn't released, but has an effect in the game and can be used via emulator. The cards are needed to unlock some levels, save progress, change gameplay mechanics, add new moves and even see concept art. To illustrate the cards, a unique model of Spider-Man in red and black costumes was used.
- To get black costume in the game, a player needs to use black suit's power-up cards. The more symbiote powers are used - the more evil the hero becomes. Spider-Man will wear that costume, which powers you use the most.
- It was the last game for HyperScan console.
