Synopsis for "The Sinister Six: Part Two"

Reprint of the 1st story from
Marvel Adventures Spider-Man #3

Spider-Man was fighting against Doctor Octopus and the Sinister Six, which consisted of Electro, Mysterio, Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, and Vulture. As Kraven and Sandman attempted to attack Spider-Man, the web-slinger knocked down crates above them, causing them to fall down, and giving him to escape.

Meanwhile, J. Jonah Jameson and Aunt May were tied up together, which the former blamed Spider-Man for. The Sinister Six were arguing amongst each other about who's fault it was for failing to capture Spider-Man. Later, when Spider-Man was searching the building for Aunt May, illusions of Mysterio appeared before him. When Spider-Man found the real Mysterio, he tackled him, dispelling the illusions. Next, Spider-Man fought against Kraven and his trained panther. Meanwhile, with help from Aunt May, J. Jonah Jameson pulled his cellphone out from his pocket. Unfortunately for them, Jameson had no reception on his phone. Spider-Man was locked in a battle with Electro before the former was trapped in quicksand by Sandman, much to the former's dismay, who shot electricity at his fellow villain, turning him into glass, as he wished to fight the web-slinger himself. Spider-Man continued his fight with Electro, luring him to a water pipe, which he punctured, unleashing a high water current on the villain, defeating him. Next, the Spider-Man fought against the Vulture and quickly defeated him by shooting a web at his eyes. Meanwhile, Doc Ock, who watched the fight, disappointed, went to check on Jameson and Aunt May, who he found trying to escape. Next, Doc Ock came to Spider-Man, holding Jameson and Aunt May in his grasp. Doc Ock put down Jameson and Aunt May and destroyed the floor under Spider-Man. As they were outside at a pier, Spider-Man fell into the water, where Doc Ock followed him to fight. Meanwhile, Jameson recieved reception on his phone and began to call the police. Spider-Man and Doc Ock fought underwater, with the web-slinger emerging as victorious and dragging the villain back to land.

Later on, the Sinister Six are arrested by the police. J. Jonah Jameson demanded an apology from Spider-Man for telling everyone that he was his ally. Aunt May pointed out that Jameson fired her nephew. Spider-Man responded that he would stop the rumor of them being allies if he gave "Aunt May's nephew" his job back, to which Jameson agreed to. At the Parker Residence, Peter entered to find Aunt May inside and greeted her.

Meanwhile, in a prison across town, as the Sinister Six argued amongst themselves, Doc Ock declared that he would come back for Spider-Man.

Reprint of the 1st story from
Spider-Man and Power Pack (Vol. 2) #3

In a flashback set 6 months prior to the main story, Spider-Man and Human Torch team up to defeat Venom. Eddie and the symbiote are separated and Eddie is arrested, but the symbiote ends up in the hands of a fashion designer named Rudolpho.

In present day, Rudolpho organizes a fashion show in which Mary Jane is one of the models. To thank Power Pack for helping Spider-Man in the previous issue, she has arranged tickets to the show for them. At the show Rudolpho presents his latest creation; clothes that can change shape and apperance to match any situation. However, it soon becomes clear that these clothes are reverse engineered from the Venom symbiote. When the costumes see Peter Parker in the audience, they revert back to their original apperance and turn all the models into copies of Venom. Once more, Power Pack and Spider-Man team up to defeat the Venoms. In the fight, Katie almost becomes a victim of one of the symbiotes. By deploying the symbiotes' weakness for loud sounds, the heroes are able to defeat them and safe the models. The symbiotes are taken away by the guardsmen. Unbeknown to anyone however, it turns out a symbiote did infect Katie.

Synopsis for "The New Silver Age"

Reprint of the 1st story from
Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four #3

The H'Mojen are merging themselves with the people of Earth, prompting Mister Fantastic to venture out into space to determine what became of the other worlds they have colonised. What Richards learns is that eventually the H'Mojen leave the colony worlds leaving the races they once possessed to try and figure out how to run their worlds that are now too advanced for them to operate.

Back on Earth, the rest of the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man have become enough of a issue that the Imperator and the H'Mojen have unleashed the Triax, massive insectoids, to keep the heroes busy while they begin converting the rest of the world. While Ben, Johnny and Spider-Man handle the insects, the Invisible Woman begins trying to contact allies to try and help them stop the invasion of the H'Mojen. Sue tries to contact the High Evolutionary in the hopes his evolutionary technology can reverse the effects of the invasion, however there is no answer when she calls. As the men defeat the Triax, they are picked up by the Invisible Woman and they program a course for the High Evolutionary's Citadel of Science on Wundagore Mountain. When they arrive, they find it under siege by soldiers that are possessed by the H'Mojen.

The Fantastic Four and Spider-Man assist the New Men in fending off the invaders. In the aftermath of the battle, one of the New Men take them into the lab where he shows them a device that the New Men use to maintain their genetic integrity. They hope that Spider-Man's scientific background will help them understand how to work the device, but it is beyond his ability to understand. The Fantastic Four are unhappy when Spider-Man suggests they seek out the aid of Doctor Doom.

They soon arrive in Latveria and discover that the entire country has been converted by Doctor Doom, who is fighting off his own people. When the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man arrive, Doom fights them until Spider-Man asks for his help, showing him the device created by the High Evolutionary and telling him that Mister Fantastic is unable to figure out how to stop the invasion. Seeing the opportunity to best his long time foe, Doctor Doom agrees to help. Doctor Doom develops a device that will allow them to destabilise the alien device to stop anymore people from being possessed by the H'Mojen, while he builds a larger version to cure the entire planet. While in deep space, Mister Fantastic continues to search worlds previously possessed by the H'Mojen, and sees the same pattern over and over.

Meanwhile, the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man have tracked the Imperator to the Australian outback. When the Thing tries to blast the device he misses. But before they can do anything else, Spider-Man suddenly becomes violently ill and throws up a strange pile of purple goo on the ground.
