MURDER AND MYSTERY IN THE MIGHTY MARVEL MANNER!
DATELINE, 1939!
As the specter of war looms on the horizon, SPIDER-MAN: NOIR fights the good fight at home, stopping the injustices of a more friendly-neighborhood variety. But after a dame is murdered at The Black Cat nightclub and all clues point overseas, Spidey will have no choice but to board the next flight to Europe and kick off a globetrotting adventure through yesteryear of the Marvel Universe!Notes
- When Peter Parker goes to May's home it is mistakenly shown to be in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens; however, her residence in Earth-90214 has previously been established to be in the Bowery neighborhood on Manhattan's Lower East Side as recently as Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider #4. A possible explanation for the inconsistency could be that Aunt May moved across the City in the intervening months since Peter's death.
- An additional error is the story being set in 1939. This is inconsistent with the chronologically earlier story, Spider-Geddon: Spider-Man Noir, taking place in 1940.
