Synopsis for "End of the Spider-Verse - Part Three: Spinning out of Control"

As the group sees Miles turning, Morlun calls for his death to prevent Shathra from locating them. But while Miles can voice some self-control, Kravinoff and Sun-Spider agree with Morlun and fight to suppress Miles despite Peter's refusal to kill a friend. A confused Spider-UK asks Madame Web why Miles is infected when the Earth-616 Spiders are supposed to be immune. Madame Web clarifies that Miles belongs equally to two realities, as he is from another universe and had given a hamburger to a hungry all-powerful figure, transplanting Miles to Earth-616 as thanks;[1] surprising the unaware Araña. Venom blasting the group off of him, Miles understands their worry and will relocate to prevent the safe zone's being compromised, so he asks to be sent to Loomworld to do as much damage as he can to prevent her from finding them. Enticed at the idea of stalking Shathra in her own lair, Kraven accompanies Miles to the Great Nest to ensure the odds, leaving the group down two spiders before they even try to save the Spider-Verse.

Reviewing their situation, Madame Web shows Earth-001 and the Great Web being rewoven by Shathra to turn or kill spiders across the multiverse. Thankfully, after studying Araña's magic and Spider-UK's portal science, a plan was made to restore the Spider-Verse and all the spiders Shathra got to. When Peter asks if said plan can return Jessica Drew, Madame Web refutes the notion, but Araña states the possibility is nearly impossible. Since Peter is the "chosen one," he wants to save Jessica before anything else. Araña tells Peter of a Spider-Goddess who was the first of the Spider-Totems, and she left a Golden Spider artifact hidden in a South American temple that can reweave the lost strands; Jessica included. Thankfully, Night-Spider (Felicia Hardy) is with them, boastfully noting Peter needs an artifact stolen and has him ask for her help. As Peter assigns Araña with him and Felicia, Spider-UK protests needing her to help run ops with Madame Web, but Peter assures a speedy mission.

Before departure, Peter leaves Cindy in charge, seeing how she's been overcoming the fear Morlun used to put on her for half her life, as it was the bunker keeping him safe from her. With five more spiders gone, Madame Web is stunned to see their numbers halved so soon. Ironically, saying so aloud gives Morlun an idea he never considered: cutting Shathra with the Totem Dagger to erase her and make it so that she never existed. Using a Dimensional Travel Watch, Morlun aims to save both the Spider-Verse and the Inheritors. When Silk asks if that's possible, Madame Web cannot sense a timeline where such a plan was attempted, so Silk leads Sun-Spider, Web-Weaver, and Spinstress to save Noir holding the dagger, as they have the plan to save the infected. Alone, Madame Web tells Spider-UK that NONE of them heard the plan before their exit, with Spider-UK noting one would think they'd listen to the person who could see the future.

At the target temple in the Delvadian jungle, Araña confirms the target item is the last child of Neith, a gold idol that can reweave the lost strands of the severed spiders. As Night-Spider notes her origin related to the scene,[2] Spider-Man asks why an Egyptian goddess has a Central American temple/pyramid. Araña asks if he wants the details of the Spider Society's connections to cultures in the Middle East and South America or complete the heist. Despite his intrigue, Peter complies with the mission. As her Spider-Sense leads her to the best path, Night-Spider web thwips an icon that triggers a shooting arrows trap, with Night-Spider apologizing as she's unaccustomed to teams; Spider-Man and Araña believe she'll get them killed. In New York City, Mayday, Noir, Gwen, and Punk await retrieval before Morlun attacks the group seeking the Totem Dagger. Immediately following, Silk's group races to save the infected while stopping Morlun but Spinstress is stung by a wasp in hiding.

On Earth-001, Shathra commands Nestling to recall the Spider-Wasps on 616. As Spinstress's consciousness joins the hive mind, Shathra is privy to the plans of the Spiders, thus calling for her Hive to leave the Great Nest as her Swarm. Back in Delvadia, the trio are walking on the ceiling to avoid further traps after tripping several beforehand, but they trip a spike trap before realizing their strength and bust through a wall. Finding the statue of Neith, Araña reads the inscription as the Golden Spinner is entrusted to the chosen one, but Night-Spider airs on caution and switches the idol with a web ball of equal weight. Just as quickly, portals from the Great Nest appear, surrounding the three with a Spider-Wasp swarm. On Earth-616 Beta, Madame Web sees the future that their operation is exposed to Shathra, but Spider-UK doesn't want to leave without telling the others about something, which Madame Web silences her as Shathra knows where to look, and they cannot risk it.

In New York, as the Spiders fight Morlun to save the Spider-Wasps, Petra reveals her being turned and helps the Spider-Wasps escape through the Great Nest portal. Web-Weaver and Sun-Spider note Petra singing in a minor key, a show-tune indicator of a villain, and Petra tells the shocked Morlun that the blade is gone from Noir's scabbard, taken with the three who fled. In Delvadia, the spiders fight the unceasing swarm that comes to attack them from the Great nest. Spider-Man asks Araña for a portal amid the chaos, but she can't without compromising their safety zone. Mayday, Gwen, and Punk arrive at the temple scene, where Punk destroys the artifact they needed to revive Jessica. But while Peter tries to give a rousing speech, Gwen blindsided him with the Totem Dagger, and Peter starts to fade away, realizing that everything he ever did was erased. Thinking about all the people he ever saved and what his erasure from reality will do, Peter fades away saying he's sorry as all that remains of him are strands from the severed Great Web billowing smoke.
