Quote1 Ten million bucks, a new identity, and a first-class ticket outta this washed-up country? Not to mention bein' a celebrity for a year. I've already sold my life rights. My agent said they'd be worth a little more if I goosed the body count up a bit before I went "legit." But with that taken care of... (with style, I might add) ...I've got only one question... where do we sign? Quote2

Synopsis for "The New Kid, Part One: Everything Old is Young Again"

The Power Family permanently moves to New York City, but Alex and Julie are less than thrilled about this. Jack however insists that this is a perfect opportunity for their superhero carreers, and takes his siblings into the city to scout for villains. They come across Sandman robbing a bank, but have to compete with Spider-Man for the right to fight him. The heroes eventually team up and flush Sandman down the sewers using a fire hydrant. Afterwards, Jack gives Spider-Man his visiting card and poses for a group of journalists, but much to his dismay the news that evening barely mentions the efforts of Power Pack, crediting Spider-Man for taking out Sandman.

Spider-Man meanwhile has tracked down Vulture to GlamorGal cosmetics, where the villain hopes to get his hands on a new, experimental formula that can reverse aging. In the fight, Spider-Man falls into a vat of the chemical and is regressed to a child. The issue ends wit him visiting Power Pack to ask for their help.

Synopsis for "A New Light"

Reprint of the 6th story from
Civil War: Choosing Sides #1

During a night out with her family in Springfield, Illinois, Harley Davidson-Cooper inadvertently causes a blackout. This causes Iron Man and the Avengers to get a reading on her energy signature. Spider-Man is informed as he's webbing up members of the Sinister Six. However, after he leaves, Sandman frees the captured villains and they decide to follow the wall-crawler to Springfield in hopes of recruiting the superhuman as their sixth member. When Harley's location is discovered by both sides, a fight breaks out between the Sinister Six and and the Avengers plus Harley. In the middle of the battle, Harley makes contact with Hydro-Man and the water shorts out her powers, possibly permanently. With the villains defeated, Iron Man gives her an Avengers Priority Card, so that she can contact them if she ever finds herself in danger again.
