Synopsis for "Too Many Spider-Men!"

At the Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson told Peter that there were reports of two Spider-Men around and ordered him to get "proof" that Spider-Man put together a gang of crooks to terrorize the city. While searching for the world's Spider-Man, the two Spider-Men encountered him. The local Spider-Man insisted that the other two unmask and surrender before they asked his help to stop a "menace" and join an army of Spider-Men. The local Spider-Man insisted that he had to finish a job, as Dr. Noah Boddy had escaped prison again. Then, the Spider-Catchers appeared in front of them. As the three Spider-Men fought the Spider-Catchers, Noah Boddy intervened and shot the Spider-Men with his uranium-powered futuro-rifle, rendering them helpless.

The Spider-Catchers argued with Boddy over who would finish the Spider-Men before one of them shot a web at the Green Goblin, leading him to accuse the invisible man of a sneak attack and blast him and Scorpion. Miles shocked Boddy, while the two Peters defeated Vulture and Electro. The Spider-Men left the Spider-Catchers and Boddy for the police before notifying everyone the local Peter knew that he would be gone. Then, the Spider-Men decided to save the multiverse.

Synopsis for "A Spider in the Dark"

Spider-Woman chased the Goblin, who threw a bomb at her before she saw Verna's Hounds. She dragged him and he took off his mask, revealing himself to be Peter Parker, and demanded an explanation. Spider-Woman took off her mask, revealing her face, much to his surprise. The Goblin revealed that he killed "her", as well as the Green Goblin, before "killing" Spider-Man. Spider-Woman attempted to recruit him before Verna and her Hounds caught up, leading Peter to believe that he had lost Gwen again. He put on his Goblin back on his mask and attacked the Hounds before Verna grabbed him and scratched his face, followed by his glider exploding, leading him to die in Spider-Woman's arms and declare that she had saved him.

As the dead Peter laid smiling, Spider-Woman turned towards Verna and declared that she was next.
