Synopsis for 1st story
Jessica Drew returns home to her infant son, Gerry, and superpowered deadbeat babysitter, Roger (a.k.a. Porcupine), to find that Jesse Drew is also there. Forced to act civil in front of Roger and Gerry, Jess pretends to be Jesse's sister until Roger leaves. They fight but stop when Gerry wakes and cries.
The story is interrupted by showing a spider-powerless Gwen learning of Jesse's origin as the child of two spies stationed on a moon base. Jesse joined S.H.E.I.L.D. right out of high school and was poisoned by space spiders on a mission. To cure him (as well as keep him in her servitude), an evil version of Cindy Moon gives him two daily injections of radioactive spider isotopes. Gwen discovers that these daily injections are not necessary to keep Jesse alive as the first one cured him ten years ago, but that they give Jesse his powers and could give Gwen hers back.
Gwen bursts into Jess' apartment to find the two doppelgangers discussing what to do next and reveals Cindy's deception to Jesse. After discussing the ethics of choosing to have spider powers, they all decide they need to return to Earth-65 and Gwen prepares her interdimentional watch while Jess calls Roger to come back to babysit.
