Earth-194 Idol

On Earth-194 the Spider-Idol was owned by Anton Miguel Rodriquez who kept it in the Delvadian Embassy and called it the "Tarantula Idol". It was burgled by Felicia Hardy, but as was stealing it, the Idol bit Felicia, granting her Spider-powers.[1]

Earth-90214[]

On Earth-90214 it was being transported to the Metropolitan Museum of Art when it was intercepted by Norman Osborn. When the idol was dropped, a swarm of spiders emerged from it and devoured one of Osborn's henchmen. One of those spiders bit Peter Parker, who experienced a vision of a Spider-God who granted him spider-powers.[2]

The idol later fell into the hand of Nazi Madame Sturm, who used it to power a machine that transformed her into a body of sentient bees. After she was defeated by The Spider-Man and Miles Morales, Miles took the idol with him to Loomworld,[3] where it was used by Spider-Zero to locate Anna-May Parker.[4]
