History

Spinster was a Spider-Totem who used her abilities as a superhero. She has prehensile hair that generates organic webbing. Spinster can decipher every vibration on her webbing, allowing her to eavesdrop from miles away. She was recruited by Spider-Man and Spider-Zero to rescue Spiderling from within the Web of Life and Destiny.

• Spinster originated as a "Spidersona"—a type of fan-created character inspired by the film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Marvel Comics contacted some fans to create new Spidersonas specifically to be showcased in Spider-Verse (Vol. 3). Spinster was first introduced in the Spider-Verses profile back-up feature of Spider-Verse (Vol. 3) #1 before making her in-story debut in Spider-Verse (Vol. 3) #6 alongside the other nine Spidersonas.
