Solicit Synopsis
• Hyperion and Nighthawk. And Battleworld’s not big enough for the two of them. The Secret War tie-in that proves that there’s no honor among thieves… or super-criminals reaches it’s epic conclusion with the battle of the millennium. Only one can walk away…
Trivia
- In the sixth page of this issue, a few references are made to the fight between Batman and Superman in Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns.
- Nighthawk uses the Prism to give himself partial armor that evokes Batman's armor.
- Hyperion remarks that he broke three of Nighthawk's ribs, a reference to Superman doing the same to Batman in their showdown.
- The final panel is a homage to a famous panel of DC Comics' Batman: The Dark Knight Returns in which Batman lands a powerful blow upon Superman.[1]
- One of the pieces of rubble in the background of the final panel is inscribed, "FM woz here."
