Synopsis for "Book Three"
After Hyperion woke up, Nighthawk revealed that he lured him to Darfur to help the genocide, although the two fought again, as a group of people in an undisclosed location observed them. Later, Hyperion helped Nighthawk by killing a would-be-rapist from the Janjaweed in Jebel Moon, intimidating African Union troops into allowing an N.G.O. to bring aid supplies into Sudanese border, and after learning that they were taking orders from President Omar al-Hamas, he broke into his office and snapped his neck before the two Americans were threatened by two superpowered individuals after they ignored their warning, as six months earlier, Hyperion had been warned that Africa was off limits and that they would come for him if he intervened again.
Trivia
- President Omar al-Hamas appears to be based on the real-life President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan.
