Long believed to have been dead, Cubisk Core returned, stole the Staff of the Living Tribunal, and used A.I.M.'s Prometheus Pit to power it to start a Babylon Event.

With the Staff the user can write a spell and rewrite reality in a continuum, leaving no space for a counter-spell. However it requires enormous amounts of energy.

The Staff of the Living Tribunal is a relic carried by Karl Mordo. Imbued to control magic too powerful for a sorcerer to sustain, the staff can emit a lash of amber energy when used in combat.
