Wasp's agent, Harlan, in an attempt to create more publicity for her, hired this disturbed young mutant to attack her, paying him in Wasp mementos. He attacked her with electricity over a phone call through the telephone wires, but she managed to get away and call the police who traced the call.
Going to the Stalker's house to investigate the attack, she met the Stalker himself, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers made from electricity. She rebuked him and he became angry and attacked her with electricity from the lamp in his room. The Stalker nearly overloaded, absorbing electricity from Wasp's costume, but she helped him by redirecting it into the ground. Leaning Harlan had set them both up, Janet fired him.Attributes
