Synopsis for "Sandsong"
After crash landing on a desert world, Ship creates a humanoid avatar in the form of a beautiful woman to save Star-Lord's life from injuries he sustained. When he comes to, he doesn't recognize her and she decides to pretend to be an alien named Caryth to flirt with him. Together, they explore deeper into the planet they were called to through Peter's dreams. The desert world proves host to a mysterious subterranean living mound known as the Trinity and a swarm of bug creatues that live in symbiosis with it. Other aliens are attacking the planet to steal the Trinity. Star-Lord helps it by providing water from his element gun, allowing it to grow from its seed form into a giant crystalline tree. While the aliens are defeated, "Caryth" is killed in the battle, but Trinity heals her so she can be restored in her Ship form. Peter learns the truth about Caryth and Ship as they leave Trinity's world in safety.
