Stenya Ubacowits was a mathematician hired by Viper to plot the flight trajectories for a satellite. The day the satellite was going to launch, the launch was called off because of bad weather, so Ubacowits went to the casino Wheelers & Dealers. A group of X-Men investigating Viper visited the casino since members of her Femme Fatales had been sighted there over the past weeks. When they noticed Ubacowits was being guarded by Bloodlust, the decided to abduct him and interrogated him for his connection to Viper. He told them everything he knew, and agreed to show them where the launch pad was located.[1] After taking the mutants to the facility of the launch pad, Stenya was killed by Bloodlust when she caught up with him and his kidnappers.[2]
