Magically created alongside her brother by Benjamin Rabin as part of a dark ritual, "Romy" Stephanie Watson was the foster daughter of Mary Jane Watson and Paul Rabin. After MJ and Paul were stranded together on the dead Earth, they found Romy with her brother, Owen, raising the two as their own[1] before relocating to Earth-616.[2]
History
Created by magic by Benjamin Rabin[1] as a component to a long term ceremony for Wayep, Romy and her big brother, Owen, were made as "shackles" for Mary Jane before he would attempt to sacrifice her to attain godhood.[3]

Owen and Romy were found in a shed, and she would see Owen have night terrors for a year before Mary Jane comforted him. She would play a lot with Paul, learn reading and math from Mary Jane, and accompany at least one parent while they lived a seemingly peaceful life as a patchwork family in the post-apocalypse. After four years, Rabin returned and attempted to kill Mary Jane before Spider-Man arrived to stop the attack, allowing Paul to kill the villain instead. Soon after, the family were relocated to Earth-616,[1] where Paul and Mary Jane continued raising Owen and Stephanie.[2]
When demons invaded New York,[4] Mary Jane used her upgraded Jackpot device to protect Romy and the family before they headed to the basement for safety.[5] After the event ended, Romy joined Paul and Owen in hugging Mary Jane following her misadventure with Black Cat.[6] When Rabin returned six months after his perceived death, Paul took the children to safety as Mary Jane sought out Spider-Man,[7] but Owen and Stephanie faded from reality by Rabin's distant magic in Paul's arms.[3]See Also
