History

This world's Doctor Strange was busy with his wife Clea until the mutant, Magik transported there from the future in order to find a way to deal with Matthew Malloy.

Strange not knowing exactly what Illyana wanted to do with this new mutant, whether to fix him or put him down, she replied that she was hoping that there was some spell or scroll that would allow Matthew to leave a normal life without taking away his mutant birthright.

Since he was an Omega Level Threat, Strange allowed Magik to borrow the Eye of Agamotto and bring it back with her so the eye could determine his fate.
