Quote1.png Son, responsibility doesn't mean you're at the whims of the world. We all have out own journey. This is mine. You do good work out here-- I see that every day. Responsibility is about a lot of things, but first and foremost, its about selflessness and sacrifice. And seeing you throw yourself in danger's way, it's clear... you understand both of those things. Let your heart guide you. Quote2.png
Captain America[src]

History

Steve circa 1967

The history of this universe's Captain America went more or less the same as his Earth-616 counterpart aside from the timescale difference. Captain America felt obliged to intervene in the conflict in Vietnam, but once he arrived there he realized that things were not exactly as they were told to the American people and therefore he decided to intervene in defense of the defenseless population of that place[1] to the point of being considered a traitor.[2] Captain America was later revealed to be one of the participants in the Secret Wars on the planet Battleworld wanted by the alien entity the Beyonder.[3]

After the Super-Human Registration Act was carried out by Secretary of Defense Tony Stark, Captain America took over as leader of the resistance and his Avengers continually clashed with Stark's U.S.Avengers trying to oppose state control over super-humans. During one of these clashes where Spider-Man was involved, Steve told Peter that even if his children had superpowers they would be persecuted.[4] Steve's ultimate fate is unclear, save for that he was among the many superheroes who were left "dead or missing" following Doctor Doom's takeover of the planet.[5]
