History
Captain America shared a similar history to his Prime Universe counterpart. Until after a meeting in which Rick Jones was raised as a member of the Avengers which Cap declined. Immortus who sought to lure the Avengers into a trap. Teaming up with the Masters of Evil, Immortus lured Rick Jones into a trap with the promise of super-powers. Instead, Immortus used Rick as a hostage to lure Captain America, banishing the boy to the Tower of London circa 17th Century. When Captain America followed after Rick, he found himself displaced to that era as well.[1] Captain America found Rick and helped free him and then forced Immortus to return the pair to their own era.[2] By this point the rest of the Avengers had caught up with Cap and were engaged in a battle against the Masters of Evil. When the battle was turning into a loss the Enchantress cast a spell turning back time in order to prevent their alliance with Immortus.[1][3][2]
