History
Captain America, along with the other members of the Avengers, was informed by Wonder Man that he was supposed to lead the Avengers into Baron Zemo's trap in exchange for a cure for his disease. After defeating Zemo and the Masters of Evil, Giant-Man worked together with Reed Richards to develop a cure.
Captain America remained with the team during their membership shake-up (with Thor and Iron Man leaving, in exchange for Hawkeye, Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch), even though Quicksilver left the team due to the romance between Wonder Man and the Scarlet Witch.
The Avengers were attacked by Quicksilver, who was posing under the identity of the Grim Reaper, and Magneto after they had joined forces. However, joined by Black Panther, the Avengers prevailed and unmasked the Grim Reaper, though Pietro soon escaped. However, after helping the Avengers into a conflict with the X-Men, Quicksilver was killed in Wanda's stead when Magneto attempted to kill her. Wanda then unleashed a powerful hex which killed Magneto. Captain America was later present at Wonder Man and the Scarlet Witch's wedding.
During the Vision's assault on the Avengers, Captain America joined the Avengers in the battle.
