History
The Academy was established by Doctor Strange sometime after the Empirikuul invasion and subsequent near-destruction of the Earth's Magic. According to Zelma Stanton, the grounds the Academy stands on were used as a sanctuary for magic practitioners since before the known history, although the building itself was built in the 1800s.[1]
