Synopsis for "A Giant There Was!"

A obsessed explorer tries to find the secret of a mountain that had a mysterious giant appear at the top of its peak. Kevin along with his three compatriots started up the mountain. Nearing the top his friends began to lose their nerve and so Kevin departed without them to the top. Upon reaching the summit the man, Kevin, discovers too late that something in the atmosphere turns oridinary people into giants. His friends start to climb up and call for him but upon seeing his new monsterous form assume the monster ate him and quickly flee down the mountain. Kevin attempts to climb down the mountain but realizes his mass is too great for the stability of the mountain's sides to support his weight and so he sits and thinks what to do next. The following morning it is clear that the mountain now has TWO giant figures at the top.

Synopsis for "The Haunted Man"

A con man, Joseph Wintergreen, presenting himself as a psychologist meets with a man who tells him he's being haunted by a ghost. Dennis Strange confesses to Wintergreen that he killed a man who stole his wife and ruined his life named Becker and now Becker is haunting him. Wintergreen ensures he will help Strange but internally thinking how much money he'll be able to milk of him to "solve" his problems. Upon ushering out Strange, Wintergreen is aware of another presence in the room who informs him that he can't be allowed to help Strange before seemingly killing Wintergreen while invisible.

Synopsis for "The Schemers!"

After working for years in his uncle's Edgar funeral parlor Paul comes to hate the old man and deeply whishes for his money. Della, Paul's equally greedy wife, concocts a plan to fake her death and switch her coffin for one with a recording of her having been buried alive, this in turn would stress Edgar's weak heart killing him. All goes according to plan until Paul returns to the funeral parlor and is horrified to realize he had forgotten to switch the coffins and so Della was really buried alive!

After been bullied by Hans Dorfman, the famous tightrope walker, a local man named Kurt makes a bet stating that Hans can't walk the rope without a net and suggest he walk the line that extends from Hans' room five stories above the village. Hans accepts the challenge but realizes too late the rope is connected to Kurt's own room as his clothing line and the bullied man takes his revenge by cutting the rope.

Synopsis for "What is It?"

A scientist, Lonzo, creates a new element he dubs 101, but also discovers it's capable of growing and consuming matter forever. The scientist and his peers come up with a plan to stop the threat by burying the element in the arctic. It is revealed that what Lonzo had created however was not a new element but a parasite and one that isn't new. It's revealed that Martians have delt with the parasite and it wiped out their planet while also thriving in the cold.
